New Underwater Experiences

Decathlon’s underwater brand SUBEA contacted Walk to team up with their experts in order to design new experiences that will improve and enhance underwater possibilities for users, from beginners to experts. 

This collaboration started in Decathlon’s newest Innovation Lab at La Rochelle, France, where we could meet users, listen to them through interviews, discover a benchmark of innovations, and brainstorm numerous ideas as a warm-up before diving in.

We have been collaborating for the next 3 months with project managers, engineers, prototypers, internal designers to design and finally present 3 kits of marine equipment that will push forward underwater experiences. 

Each concept was delivered as a complete user journey storyboard, precise renderings, detailed explanation of assembly and features, and creative marketing strategy and has allowed the brand to move toward the development phase.
